Why is jaws such a big screw up!

Can someone explain why Jaws is such a big screw up! Why is it when sometimtes
I will be reading an e-mail in outlook express, and there will be a link to
click on to check out a website. I click on the link. When I am done I press
alt f4 to close. Nothing happens. Jaws quits speaking. It will just sit there
for a lont time. Then eventually jaws will return to the e-mail I was reading.
Window-eyes doesn't do this stupid thing why in the world is Jaws so stupid!
and do that!. Please don't tell me I can go to the task manager and shutdown
the program. I'm not looking for that. I want to know why an overpriced program
does such a stupid thing. I have to sit there for a log before jaws will speak
again. This is not acceptable for a program to do that. It's like jaws locks up
for some stupid reason. Why can't freedom scientific get their act together!
