To answer the question, the thesaurus will work with JAWS, but it won't
display all the synonyms in the list that pops up unless you use the
JAWS cursor and left-mouse click on one of them first.  Then you can go
back to the PC cursor and navigate through the list normally.

That's right!
Word Perfect used to be and I believe still is owned by Corel Corp.
Word was developed and is marketed by Microsoft Corp.
I can't imagine anyone not knowing that unless they are bran new to the 
universe.
