Thanks for pointing that out. Two problems with SAPPI here: Punctuation
changes won't stay and keep defaulting to most. And, am unable to set
different voices for different programs- whichever one I choose last
becomes the voice for all applications.

Eric and Dan do a nice demo on the ScanSoft package as part of the new
training package. Once it is installed, it can be either a primary or
secondary synth during Say All, depending upon whether or not you
check
the top box under "Say all"
settings. To use it as a secondary, keep the box unchecked, and do an
alt-say-all command. Without the addition of Alt, Eloquence remains
primary.

I'm still experimenting, but am presently thinking of proposing
marriage
to 'Carolyn.

To change the synthesizer, Jaws key, control S. Arrow down to sapi 5
and

enter.

To switch the voice, Jaws key, J, options, voices, enter on individual

voices and tab around.

New for version 8: Go to Say all in configuration manager, set options.

enter and follow the directions after you tab.
