Trouble with Windows Mail

Hi all,

a friend upgraded to Vista recently, and when she tries to use the Windows Mail interface, two problems occur: 1. when selecting a folder from the tree view, Windows mail jumps to the message list, instead of staying there, whenever there is mail in that particular folder.
Any way of fixing this?
2. There is no Address list as in OE, even though Vista imported the contacts. We can just go into the contacts folder, press the context menu key, and select "Send Mail" from there, can the address list be enabled somehow?
Thanks for your help,

Nermin
