The Optacon hasn't been made for over ten years now.
I have a few and plan to hold on to them like gold; they are worth their
weight in gold for being able to read things that can't be read either as
conveniently or at all with a scanner. Handwritten, printing on round
containers, diagrams, etc.
But, no need to get more info on it, as you can't buy one now.
