Definitely uninstall Spyware Blaster. Updates should be released frequently
enough that the latest threats can be found.>

Windows Defender, imho, is useless. It claims to protect you from malware,
but from investigations I've done when I first had my Vista Home Premium
laptop, nothing whatsoever gets picked up, either in real-time or via a
manual scan. If you have Windows XP, go ahead and uninstall it, otherwise
open Windows Defender, click tools, click options, clear the use Windows
Defender check box, click save, click close in the dialogue box, and
Windows Defender will be turned off. Try to ignore the warning that Windows
Security Centre displays as a baloon.>

This sounds to me that AVG 8 can't pick up anything as Super Antispyware
already caught them and therefore removed them. This is just placing
unnecessary wear and tear on your computer as you're just scanning for
things that were caught and removed already.>
