I'd try the regscrub xp program from the jfwlite site first if you use xp as a
registry cleaner if not there is a download for the microsoft registry cleaner
try that next. Then try other programs.How effective is it? well if you have a
program which is doing something like taking you to another webpage when you
launch your browser and open your homepage. Not very effective against that
that's a spyware problem. It did however help my cd-rom play cds again when
there was a problem. I'll send along to you privately with some tips for use
in the next message.
