These are great discussions.  the one thing I really wish new computer 
users were more encouraged to do is to save documents with information to 
their hard drive. What sparked this discussion for me was the fact that we 
seem to get the same questions over and over again, when the information is 
just so readily available, if the person only knew how to get to it.

go to the helpful hints page and look at what's discussed there. If you 
haveany programs you want to learn about that are there, you can copy and 
paste the information to a separate text document, you can put the page in 
your favorites, lots of things you can do.
I've never been one for spoon feeding information because the person is 
relying on the other person to do all the work.  I like to encourage people 
to do research and learn for themselves. That way the information stays 
there longer and the person can know that they accomplished something at least.
