I think windows u actually opens the utility manager. If you do windows u and
narator doesn't come up, that means someone has unchecked the box to start
narator. The procedure with going to the run dialog is more full proof.

windows u is a easier way especally if you go to a libarry to use their
computer and it has xp on it but i think narrator is a pain in the butt
though am so used to jaws can't get used to the darn thing.
