Noone should be permitted on this list without an antivirus program.
I don't have any tech support. My wife and I spent hours and even days getting
this computer set up and working. I use it for a wide variety of functions from
music to reading, business reports and weather reports, e-mails and internet,
voice messaging and games. It's certainly not my place to say who should or
should not be on the list but I very strongly believe that everyone here has a
duty and obligation to protect the security and integrity of everyone else's
system to the absolute best of their ability.
Please, I am not attacking you personally--I know how frustrating this security
business is--I
feel it myself but Please don't disable or even think of disabling your virus
protection. I have benefited tramendously from the list but I would leave
immediately if I thought people were allowed to post to this list without virus
protection.----- Original Message -----

TerriLynne,
I think I'd rather get a virus rather than go thru all the anti this & anthi
that which does nothing but slow my computer so much I may as well have a
very slow one.
I'm seriously considering disabling my antivirus & firewall programs to see
if things run better!
Harry
