Hi All:
I am using Word 2000 with JAWS 5.1, an AMD processor, 512 megs of memory,
Windows98(SE), Norton 2005. In word and sometime in WordPad my cursor just
want advance through the text. There are times it takes several tries to
display text with the JAWS cursor, I don't know if the text is visible or
not. When JAWS can see the text and you can't arrow through the file with
the system cursor, if you go to the JAWS cursor you can arrow down with the
JAWS cursor butleft clicking much of the time will not position the system
cursor where the JAWS cursor is. Now sometime you can get the cursor
working correctly by switching between normal and print view.
The above problem happens with both 5.0 and 5.1, the whole thing is strange
and just began a couple of weeks ago.
Thanks for any help,
George R. Marshall

Hi Steve. Just select the text. Then open the format sub-menu. Press enter
on font and tab down to color. Just arrow up and down to the color you want
and press enter again. Don't forget to unselect the text. good luck

Bob
