David, Interesting. So you are telling us that you clicked on a link to install JFW 12.0.1158 and the install crashed? Can you be more exacting with what version you were actually instructed to install? What version of JAWS were you using before you attempted the install? What steps did you have to take to remove that aborted installation? What version of JAWS are you back to using? I did so and it totally screwed up my computer trying to use the upgrade. FS is aware of this problem and they said if you want to upgrade use their web site instead of the link in their e mail. I had to reinstall jaws and that fixed the issue. I am using JAWS version 12.5.25 on my Windows 7 Home Premium machine. It seems to work pretty well. This version is what is listed on About JAWS. Perhaps the update happened automatically?
