Using XP, with detail view checked, I get the same results as you and can't
get any information using the arrow keys. Which leads me to the question,
what operating systems are Peter & Kimsan running? I know Kimsan runs
Windows7 but, I don't know about Peter. Daniel, good point! Take care.

IF you're using Ctrl+Alt+arrow, then that's what I hear, also. The
keystrokes are Insert+Ctrl+the numbers 1, 2, etc.

You can also use control + Jaws key + 1, 2, ....

Hi, if I've understood correctly, in windows explorer set the view
to
details under the view menu. Then as you move down to a file, you
can press
left and right arrow keys to move to the various bits of information
i.e.
file type, size etc.
