Dave:

First of all, I have done nothing to the drive in any way at all, since
deleting the folder.

So the drive is exactly as I left it.

As yet, I have not yet had time to do much research for file recovery
software that is accessible using JAWS.  This is because I had to go to a
training session this afternoon.

I posted the request before I left to do that and I have just got home.

I hope that clarifies my previous posting.
