Surely these has been fixed in 11 though since I've not had problems like that apart from that one issue. -----Original Message----- From: jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Zaheer Sheikh Sent: 12 November 2009 7:25 PM To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: FS activate I also had same issue earlier this year when I was running windows 7 beta with Jaws 10. Whenever I changed desktop theme, changed display settings, updated graphics driver, switched to another monitor, I had to authorize Jaws. I talked to freedomscientific tech support about this issue, and they suggested me to get a dongle authorization. I'm using dongle authorization since february, and so far I did not have any authorization issues on Windows 7. To prevent Jaws mirror display error, switch to Windows 7 Basic theme. You have to make this change with narrator. If you use Jaws to Switch to Windows 7 Basic theme, the theme doesnt changes correctly. 1. Turn off Jaws, and run narrator. 2. Go to Control Panel, and open "Personalizations". 3. Press the arrow keys to select the "Windows 7 Basic" theme, and then hit enter. 4. You will hear start up sound, which confirms that theme has been changed. Now, you can load Jaws, and tern off narrator. Also, turn off Jaws before you shut down, log off, go to hibernate, lock, sleep, or restart your PC. Mainly, do not let your PC go to sleep while Jaws is running.
