Most definitely, and what ever you do, do *not* *under any conditions* even think of installing the Comcast security manager. I repeat, the security manager from Comcast you do *not* want to install, I did that and you never saw so many problems in your life. Funnies thing of all, when I removed it, and put sygate firewall back on my system, sygat locked everything completely out of my system, I could do nothing on the internet at all until I played around in the registry and a lot of other things and then I ran ad-aware and had a ton of spyware. That's a note for anyone that might have thought about it, it took me sighted help to get it shut down and uninstalled, and about an hour, and close to 10 hours to get this computer working like a computer again. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jerry Richer" <jerry@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Sunday, February 06, 2005 11:53 AM Subject: Re: Cable vs DSL with JFW > Be sure not to install any Comcast or Verison software.
