Well, I'm trying to get the list back to something resembling
something FS will take seriously. Now that my life (yes, I actually
have one) has calmed down somewhat, maybe my attempts to do so will
actually be significant.
Minor administrative gripe aside, I think the list is on an upswing
now so far as quality of posts goes. I can actually read a few
messages in a row without having them be interupted by something
completely off-topic. I've said it before and I'll say it again...
you guys posts a *lot*. I can't catch everything in one look. What I
don't catch, though, is usually brought to my attention. And while
comments aren't always forthcoming from me on the list, there are a
few people here who can freely admit they've been tapped on the
shoulder privately about things that should have been taken elsewhere.
Anyway. I plan to make an announcement tomorrow pertaining to the
list and an appropriate website I'm currently working on. I'll expand
more on this point then... so as not to carry this particular thread
out of bounds.

Unfortunately, with good reason, FS no longer takes this list seriously. But Eric has said on another list that it would be a few weeks later, and that was a couple of weeks ago. Draw your own conclusions.

Hello Everyone:
My name is Beto Escobar III, LMSW, and I just now read-up, on the JFW newsletter, that JAWS 7.0 will be premiered in Austin, Texas on September 28, 2005. As a result of me living in close proximity to Austin, Texas, I
have signed-up to attend the event. With this in mind, I have a question (s) for the list serve as well as all of the beta testers!
JAWS 6.0, and it's update .2 was released earlier this year. What is going on that Freedom Scientific is releasing 7.0-- a **very major** release this year as well? Has something like this been done previously? What I mean is to have two major releases of JAWS in one year-- approximately within a six month time span? The only rationale I can come up with is that Microsoft is releasing its new version of Windows
soon? Does anybody know if this is true? I am eager to hear everyone's thoughts on this matter?
"The Curious one" Beto Escobar III, LMSW CEO ACCESS San Antonio Inc.
