Daniel, you should have read through this message and followed the thread. The initial post asked if, in JAWS 7, one would be able to select the sound card; the first reply stated that this can already be done; the next reply wondered as to how it was accomplished, and this last post answered that question.

sorry for my very late reply .

you will find what you need here :

http://www.freedomscientific.com/fs_support/BulletinView.cfm?QC=432

if you are running JFW 5 or later, do not replace eloq.jls , you don't
need to.

The company, in this case Freedom Scientific, is the best resource for
the information you are seeking as to when JAWS for Windows 7.0 is to
be released.

You are likely to get more accurate information by either calling them
at: (800) 444-4443 or going to their web site at:
http://www.freedomscientific.com

Which is where I go if I want to know the latest information about
JAWS for Windows.

He's right folks, this is such cool news! Firefox 1.5 will be out in

Now how cool is that!?!?

Subject: Any news regarding JAWS 7.0?

Hello Everyone:

My name is Beto Escobar III, LMSW, and I just now read-up, on the
JFW
newsletter, that JAWS 7.0 will be premiered in Austin, Texas on
September
28, 2005. As a result of me living in close proximity to Austin,
Texas, I

have signed-up to attend the event. With this in mind, I have a
question
(s) for the list serve as well as all of the beta testers!

JAWS 6.0, and it's update .2 was released earlier this year. What
is
going on that Freedom Scientific is releasing 7.0-- a **very major**
release this year as well? Has something like this been done
previously? What I mean is to have two major releases of JAWS in
one
year-- approximately within a six month time span? The only
rationale
I
can come up with is that Microsoft is releasing its new version of
Windows

soon? Does anybody know if this is true? I am eager to hear
everyone's
thoughts on this matter?

"The Curious one" Beto Escobar III, LMSW CEO ACCESS San Antonio Inc.
