Does anyone know if, in any upcoming version, they ever plan to allow one to
choose which of several soundcards one might have installed JAWS should use
as its default output device? I've been complaining about this inadequacy
for some time now.

Dana
The company, in this case Freedom Scientific, is the best resource for the information you are seeking as to when JAWS for Windows 7.0 is to be released.
You are likely to get more accurate information by either calling them at: (800) 444-4443 or going to their web site at: http://www.freedomscientific.com
Which is where I go if I want to know the latest information about JAWS for Windows.
