I've just switched to outlook, and it's been smooth sailing ever since.

That's what I'm using, outlook. I take it this doesn't happen with outlook?
Still deciding whether to download 7.1 or not. May install it on my laptop
before my desktop since I use my desktop for work and I can do more
experimentation on my laptoip. Still, the two have different video cards,
and my desktop has one of the newer ones that gave Jaws trouble in the past,
an ATI type that's one of the newer ones, the Radion X300 the new PCI, so I
don't know if that would be more of a problem or less for Jaws 7.1. how are
others with this card faring with 7.1? This is the one that had dual
monitor support, though we have it disabled.

Rick,

The same bloody thing happens to me too. I've written to FS, but I'm not
sure yet as to whether or not they've gotten back to me. I still have some
mail to sift through. I am so angry at freedom for not listening to us
during the beta process!

Hi,

Sometimes when trying to creat a new message with outlook express and jaws
7.1 jaws will sometimes loose speech and the only way to get it back is to
reboot the PC.

When using narrator I am able to tell that the jaws screen has came backup
but no speech.

Rick
