Yes. If you open the AVG control centre, scroll to e-mail scanner, press enter 
on that, tab to the configure button, and the option is there (I believe it's 
called "certify mail" and it's a check box). Hope that helps.

  Which appears at the end of incoming E-mails?  I'm using the free version and 
thought I had E-mail scanning turned off.  Thank you.
