I can't think of another company, accessibility related or not, that
doesn't go after filling up the feature matrix first and getting dinged
for not caring about existing customers, quality, bug fixes and so on.
IMHO, FS isn't any better or worse than any other company or product I
can think of in this respect.

It also seems to me that FS, MS or most any company is in a no win
situation. If FS came out with a JFW 13 that was mostly focused on bug
fixes and performance then people would resent having to pay an SMA for
something they should have gotten in the first place or would complain
about having to pay for something that was such a small change from the
previous version. If they add a new feature then there will be those who
aren't interested in that feature and those who resent the fact that FS
has implemented a new feature instead of fixing their pet bug.

Well, that's just my $0.02. I'll go back to wearing out my delete key.
