Actually, it looks to me as if some major European backbone (no offense to you Island People <g>) has become disconnected from the rest of the skype world. I have a hard time signing in from my end too and when I do only see one or two million users on and only to or three of my contacts and when I try to call those, the call doesn't go thru.
