Hi folks

Thanks for the responses so far. but as mentioned in my posting this has
only occurred since after jaws 5. All releases since then have had the
problem.

Are there any techies out there that know how to create a custom label tag
for one particular edit box and have jaws read this tag when navigating to
the box? Surely there must be a way of getting this prompt reading again
just as jaws 5 used to. Please note though that jaws 5 worked out of the
box and no adjustments or custom labels etc were created.

Thanks
Martin
