Ken and Listers, Answering security prompts on many web sites is becoming more of a problem that is not just limited to what version of screen reader we use. Some sites are using what I can only describe as touch pads on screen that you have to hover the mouse pointer over to fill in a series of numbers. And as these numbers and their position change every time you enter the site you can't develop a technique to accessing them. These type of security are being bought in to protect our accounts or so we are told. However one site has become inaccessible to me I can't get into my account without sighted assistance. As this is an Internet account which offers better interest I can't do any transactions over the phone and when I phoned the bank to point this out I was told it was all in the interest of higher security. If more and more financial institutions bring in this type of access screen reader users will be denied access to their own accounts. Apologies if this is slightly off topic but I feel we are being discriminated against via the back door. So it is either something new in V8 when handling variable security prompts, or it is a setting we need to change in v8 that we have not found yet. Hope someone out there can help.
