George, I take your point, and ask, what support does anyone get anyway? But XP SP1 must only be about 3 years old. I remember there was such an outcry when they tried this trick with Win 95 that it was delayed a long time. Let's hope this happens again. Win 95/98 are far easier to play with than XP.
