Hi Sandy There may be not too much I can do about getting that updated. What about changing the command itself as it may be a pronunciation issue which is causing it to fail? Other than that you would need to create the shortcut manually I am afraid. Thanks very much. Snip: as I tried to delete a shortcut using the command "select a contact to delete", then selecting the contact from the list then confirm, the entire list was deleted, Not sure why this happened, but is there a way to restore this list? The answer to that question depends on if you've been backing up your speech files and J-Say settings regularly. If so, you can restore them and that should fix it. Before doing that however, you might want to restart J-Say or, better yet, restart your computer. There's no reason removing one contact should remove all of them. Snip: is there a way to edit an email address for a shortcut that was stored? SM: Just resave the contact and give it the same name but with the correct email address. It will replace the old with the new. From an open message, I used the commands "copy email address", which echoed that back to me, then with the message still open and also while it is closed "store contact". Which then announced nothing was copied to the clipboard. Second, as I tried to delete a shortcut using the command "select a contact to delete", then selecting the contact from the list then confirm, the entire list was deleted, Not sure why this happened, but is there a way to restore this list? Finally, is there a way to edit an email address for a shortcut that was stored? Thanks for all your assistance. Sandy
