Ah, its not me then I don't think. I will write to NGT on your behalf
and see what we may be able to organise to help you.

Anything we can do to get this working for you, we will do.

Hi

I think the only way this could be resolved would be if someone remote
accessed your machine. In which country do you live please? That is
important because that determines who is going to do it.

Thanks.

Ok. But I don't think it is a pronunciation issue because the command is
echoed back correctly and it is also displayed in the little window at
the top of the screen.

The speak number of words command also does not work. It gives me an
error message then start spelling the command. The speak number of lines
works with no problem it's just the speak number of words command that
is failing. Any suggestions be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your continued help and support.

Hi Sandy

There may be not too much I can do about getting that updated.

What about changing the command itself as it may be a pronunciation
issue which is causing it to fail?

Other than that you would need to create the shortcut manually I am
afraid.

In my case it is JSay 7 with Office 2003.

Hi Sue and Sandy

Regarding copy email address, can you please tell me the J-Say version
being used where the command is failing, together with what actually
happens when you speak the command (presumably nothing), and also the
Office version being used?

Thanks very much.

The answer to that question depends on if you've been backing up your
speech files and J-Say settings regularly. If so, you can restore them
and that should fix it. Before doing that however, you might want to
restart J-Say or, better yet, restart your computer. There's no reason
removing one contact should remove all of them.

Snip: is there a way to edit an email address for a shortcut that was
stored?

SM: Just resave the contact and give it the same name but with the
correct email address. It will replace the old with the new.

Hello, All

I am trying to store a contact from a email message I received and
can't seem to get it to work. From an open message, I used the commands
"copy email address", which echoed that back to me, then with the
message still open and also while it is closed "store contact". Which
then announced nothing was copied to the clipboard.

Second, as I tried to delete a shortcut using the command "select a
contact to delete", then selecting the contact from the list then
confirm, the entire list was deleted, Not sure why this happened, but is
there a way to restore this list?

Finally, is there a way to edit an email address for a shortcut that was
stored?

Thanks for all your assistance.

Sandy
