I'm a bit surprised because Sandisk's advert for CF cardreader, they say it's good for 16MB/sec, so I thought there would be nothing noticeable between any readers at 3MB/sec. For the sake of comparison, on my fast Linux machine with a firewire CF card reader, I get 3MB/sec read and 4MB/sec write on that card.
