Are you certain that this is required? Not certain, no: but *Verify gives 32 x 'Disc error 13' addresses. Apart from error messages when attempting to save to these locations, the hard drive works reliably; however it is 6 years old. Before replacing it I thought it might be worth attempting to reformat to see if that cured the disc errors.
