That doesn't surprise me at all; the work for alt-rename in the filer
happened for Ursula (RISC OS 4) which was before the Castle/RISC OS Ltd
forking of the OS so the bug is no doubt common to both versions (unless ROL
have already found and fixed it).

I'm reasonably confident I've found a bug which would probably result in the
behaviour described - this was all by looking at the sources; I didn't
actually /try/ my fix so I may be wrong or there may be another cause. I've
passed the fix to Castle and I'm sure they will build that into an Iyonix
ROM very soon.
