A-S-C has always worked through all versions of RISC OS 5. But
certainly with 5.13 and possibly with one or two before that, if I
rename the field and fail to move the cursor to the far right at the end
and only then hit Enter, it just opens the file, not renames it.

Though this could be a timing problem to do with the KVM.
