spoke to a microsoft licencing guy this afternoon, you can install isa
sbs on a different server, the serial no is on the media somewhere, he
couldn't remember.

You are allowed to split SBS among servers I believe.

 

Last time I checked the licensing and structure of SBS is to load all
software on one server which is the only DC in a new tree in a new
forest and no other DC is allowed. You can have as many member servers
as you want.
