through your niece, organised for session where ILUGC can explain the
project potential available in FOSS?
We will tell them about the kind of help available on net, lugs and
NRCFOSS.
Let us approach students with a list of likely projects.
I think we should collect potential projects for students in our
wiki.
NRC FOSS is supporting students to do FOSS Projects, provide mentors who
can guide the students, provide all sorts of other assistance and the
real bonaza is we have plans even to pay them for their projects
(successfully completed and hosted in our repos which can be used by
anyone).
Actually this is a very good chance for students to try out their hands
over FOSS based projects. Our wiki

and students are welcomed to add more ideas. We would also be happy to
work with ilugc (as it is always :) ) in this manner.
As Raman said, you can ask your niece to contact their HOD. We will have
a formal session in their coll for taking FOSS based projects, have some
GLVs and LDDs also.
