Is that how a modern OS should be? No networking, no multitasking
removing the TCP/IP stack altogether? Hooking it up with our ISPs is
going to be fun then.
People should use linux,opensource because its not free for cost,
but its free for freedom. And thats what users should understand,
and i think, releasing a wnidows version with limited features at low price
will make ppl think, what they are getting for price, and what they are
getting for freedom,
i.e paying some dollars they are getting a limted software with limited
features as well loss of freedom,
and by choosing freeway, they will know what the real freedom can mean.....
all we need is good projects to make the best userfriendly desktops, so that
any layman can install and start using linux.... once we start makin this,
people will automatically switch over, this change will be slow but stable
and good.....
