[Ilugc] Installing Sound Card

Hi,
when i use xmms to play my audio as root, it says
--------------------------------
Please check that:
Your soundcard is configured properly
You have the correct output plugin selected
No other program is blocking the soundcard
--------------------------------
I dont think second and thrid might be the cause.
As root run,
apt-get install alsa-utils alsa-base alsa-utils alsa-tools alsa-oss
Then after this is installed, run alsaconf and follow accordingly ..
