we can also have a set of basic packages : topics and slides --- for
half-day training, full-day training -- as a workshop. As and when situation
demands, additional modules could be added for a given session.
Since the training is generally given by LUG members, we could download them
on to a laptop and take to places where we conduct the training program.
For instance, I am giving below the msg from Thiruvalluvar College of Engg &
Tech. The LUG can handle the initial training part. Thereafter, I could
coordinate -- with suggestions & help from mentors (LUG and other groups) --
re the projects which needs initial interactions with management and
constant prodding. We can check up whether it is feasible to call small
groups from nearby colleges -- depending on the interest of host & guest
colleges. If the guests are interested, we could offer separate programs for
them.
