your domain is linux05.pulsars. or pulsars.lan?
etc etc. arun saab, what you really want to tell this fellow is that
trailing dots have meaning in zone files - how with a trailing '.',
the entry is taken as it is and without a trailing '.', the current
$origin is appended. some sys admins use trailing dots, some dont.
from the information given, it is not clear if the op or the web
front end tool put those trailing dots in the file causing the
problems.
