Luckily, this will be a brand new Allegro database, so I won't have to
transpose any existing layout data.
Can you tell me the file name extensions exported from PADS Logic? For
example, .dat, tel, etc. or does it even matter?
Thanx in advance. Apparently, not many folks do this sort of input, cuz
you're the only one that responded.

Allegro can import PADS ASCII files. It comes in pretty well. I did a few
boards last year using this. Shapes had to be redone, and some other
stuff...but it really was pretty good.
