I wanted to relate a FIX to the problem of poor performance in Allegro
15.2. Turn off all classes, under Manufacture | silkscreen
 
I was waiting 2-3 minutes to return to idle after moving a part. After
changing the Ref des class to none, the rest were none already,  the
delay to idle is almost instantly.
