First of all, many thanks to all those who made Mike's day at the
South East Show very busy by buying upgrades. Easi/TechWriter 8.72 was
released at the Show as planned but it is not on general release yet
until Mike has sorted out all the aftermath of the show.

While you are waiting I would like to introduce you to another brand
new feature in the new version: the Style Finder. This useful little
window is the perfect companion to the Style Editor. It permanently
sits next to your document and as you move the cursor through the
document it automatically updates to show you the full hierarchy of
styles applied at the cursor position. And even better, next to each
style entry, you have a handy "Edit..." button that allows you to
launch the Style Editor for this style with a single mouse click. You
can see a screenshot of the Style Finder at

Shaded style entries indicate that the given part style is empty
(e.g., there are no special properties assigned to the body part of
the "New chapter" style). Obviously, what the screenshot does not
convey is the fact that the window updates all the time wherever you
place the cursor, which is what makes it so useful.

So, stay tuned for the 8.7 upgrade being available in due course.

Martin
