Don: It looks like you are not the only one fighting the non-working floppy issue on PCLinuxOS. On the PClinuxOS forum, Texstar recommends adding the floppy driver to the preload config file. -------------------------- Add floppy to /etc/modprobe.preload so the kernel driver gets loaded when you boot your computer. In "/etc/modprobe.preload" add: floppy -------------------------- You have to reboot after this edit.
