I am not a laywer by any means, but not the information is GPL'd but
the code is.
In any way, I would ask the author about his view of the things,
because that's probably what matters the most.
BTW we already have some kind of SCSI support written by Thomas
Kurschel which is used by the ATAPI driver and is designed to be used
by other modules as well. However, it has not yet been integrated into
our repository.
