This is completely and totally not true.
Real R1 work has been and is going on right now.
And will continue to go on.

Because of the modular nature of BeOS, you can replace pieces at a time.
Mail Daemon Replacement  is a *SHIPPING* example. So is the printing stuff that 
Ithamar is almost done with.
Or screen saver. And the other kits are coming along, but are just a bit 
bigger. :-) 

DO NOT THINK THAT YOU HAVE TO WAIT FOR THE KERNEL! 
The number of people that actually *do* have to wait you can count on 1 hand.
Everyone else can, should be and IS working at full speed. :-)

So, back to work! :-)
