I have not tried to run the decoder under haiku. I am happy to send it to you to try though. I did port the older 3ivx decoder to the haiku native plugin API you did. I might redo that in the next week or so and send you that as well. > > I am particularly interested in anyone who has a CPU that can run SSE2 > > or greater instructions. > > I've got a Core 2 quad CPU, should work fine. Ok I will definately try and get you a haiku native version. I have never been able to test the SSE2 and higher routines. They should be fine, but I had to port NASM 2.01 and hold gcc 2 hand a bit when compiling under BeOS so something might be broken. My eventual aim is to have haiku versions of the 3ivx.decoder and aac.decoder and update the MP4 reader I did to use them. This should allow MP4 files to be played under haiku. -- Cheers David
