The more we talk about this solution the more I like it. I had some
reservations in the beginning but I think that those are mostly gone now.

I volunteer to help as much as I can but I am far from a drupal guru/expert
so I would need someone else to help with it too.

With all this said, I am still going to continue with the creation of the
Canadian HUG (who knows when this proposed solution will actually be in
place). I have tried the theme you sent me, Jorge, and it works fairly well
but Neils is also going to give me access to his so I will try that one as
well as soon as I get it.

As I mentioned above I will help out with the creation of a HUG solution. To
start off how we would arrange the domains? Would we get a domain like
Haiku-HUGs.org (or whatever) and then each hug could have a subdomain like
canada.haiku-hugs.org (or their own domain if they purchase it).
