I received an "extension" offer from a well known community member about
working on UltraDV, what is the Haiku Inc. vision relating working on this

It's 8 days now, and I didn't receive any response. What is the status of
the discussion?
I am OK with continuing the contract for another 2 months to see what
additional work comes out of it. I haven't really hard a yay/nay from
other Haiku, Inc. members.
Your proposal of 12.5 EUR/hr ends up being approximately $3400 USD for
240 hours (as an aside, we do currently have 1765 EUR in the paypal
account which we could use as partial payment rather than fully in
USD). We do have the funds for this, but I am wondering how much we
should spend on media kit/media player work when there seem to be
other areas of the system that desperately need to be improved so we
can get Haiku into Beta sooner.
I expected to discuss the proposal or receive comments, but it seems it
isn't happening.
I don't see a lot of people chiming in this time around :/
Perhaps further media kit improvements aren't very high on people's
priority list?
