I have been offering my home system which is a 8 core AMD machine and my
network connection as a
build slave for months. I haven't had any response from any of the dev's. I
have huge bandwidth on
a fiber connection at 100mb.
If paying someone to do some sysadmin work, Dario not withstanding, would get
Beta out the door and
Haiku inc has the money, what is everyone waiting for ?
There is no one with free time to do this in our sysadmin team. You can't ask
them to leave their current job for Haiku. And, as I said we can't hire random
people to do this because it needs root access to our main server, which we
don't easily grant (and I don't think Haiku inc decides who gets access).
So, it is not a money problem at this point.
