Well, I've just taken possession of my ZaReason (linux) laptop, with the intention of using it as my Haiku development machine ... and I'm already running into lots of trouble! I did successfully install a nightly build onto a created partition (the first extended one as it happens), but I'm having some problems (that I'll probably get into later) so I want a second partition in part of the 85GB of empty space on the drive, to install other revs for comparison. However, when I try to create this, I always get the message: "Validation of the given creation parameters failed." I've tried from both the installed Haiku and an older USB drive -- same result. Can anyone help? Thanks, -- Pete --
