In the case of i810, Gerald did indicate he already has it, and I'm pretty certain there are plenty of reference implementations of it out there he can obtain information from, and AFAIK, that hardware also doesn't have a lot of modern features, so the complexity of that device would probably be pretty low compared to modern chipsets (admittedly, I'm guessing). Just wanted to point this out, since he didn't actually offer any RadeonHD support in his first email... if this was a "do I spend my time writing A or write B instead" discussion, I'd certainly vote for the newer hardware first. Now, if Gerald *is* interested in writing drivers for more recent hardware - I *would* be willing to pitch in some $ to purchase him some hardware so he can :) - Urias
